Lagardère Active occupies a key position in the French media with a strong presence based on iconic and renowned premium brands such as Elle, Paris Match, Europe 1, Gulli and Doctissimo.
Lagardère Active asked us for an incentive trip to Copenhagen for a day. The management team wanted to reward, stimulate and in particular inspire its employees. The budget was tight and being planned for December, the weather affected the organization of the trip.
The programme aimed to highlight the intrinsic link between design and architecture, gastronomy and the art of living.
Copenhagen was one of the 3 cities envisaged. Although requiring a larger budget than other European cities, it was chosen because it currently resonates with the contemporary cultural, artistic and culinary scene and offers rich and innovative achievements that teams can learn from.
We quickly agreed on the suitability of a one-day, light-break format. Copenhagen is 1h50 from Paris and Copenhagen airport is 5 km from the centre. With a flight at 7:50, their teams would take a hearty breakfast at 10.00 before embarking on a busy day. The detailed programming, following discussions with the management committee, was entirely customised to the target, the age and the desires of the teams. Tailor-made!

More than offering simple guided tours, the participants are accompanied by guides who are inspiring and charismatic personalities with a real desire for an exchange of ideas.
In the picturesque Nyhavn district on the banks of the famous canal, a delicate and refined Nordic cuisine, based on exceptional products, has delighted gourmets and gourmands. We enjoyed a nice collection of rare beers and flavoured aquavit from local breweries. In the afternoon, well wrapped up in blankets and comfortably seated in a rickshaw, we discovered the wonderful sites of the city. Our urban ‘raid’ ended with 45 minutes of shopping in a mecca of Danish design before the transfer at 18.00 to the airport.
A compact and inspiring day, rich in emotions, and so successful that Lagardère Active wishes to repeat the experience with other partners and other departments. This incentive trip to Copenhagen in one day was a real success.
